Birds of a Feather began with the idea of a Virtual Networking system. As I am a Director of a Training organisation also, I endeavour to spend more time to develop the Birds of a Feather site at every opportunity.

People however do like to get together for the physical face to face. We have started a Saturday Women's Business Chat in Upper Mt Gravatt in Brisbane.  This is a free service which utilises the Children's Party Room - Free... and has the childrens play area... free - and mums and business women can come along.  We are not excluding men by any means. The first meeting was held on November 10 with 7 people, one being a good friend of mine who now has his own Photography business...

Birds of a Feather is to give the small and medium businesses a place to write their blogs, include information in our Events Calendar - Release dates for products, dates where people can find you, dance classes, charity events. There is nothing it can't be used for that is tasteful...
